Meet us at Uppsla LIFE!
For the second year, we’ll host Uppsala LIFE on October 13th as a means to gather, inspire, and show the excellence of life science.
2020 has proven to be peculiar and spectacular in many ways. On one hand, challenging and on the other providing new opportunities as well as a sense of urgency. Since Agenda 2030 was introduced in 2015 a top-down approach to implement and focus has been utilized, but with the present crisis at hand, we’ll see an emerging bottom-up movement for sustainable development.
On October 13th from 12.30 to 17.00, we’ll emphasize some of the aspects of sustainable development out of an innovation and growth perspective.
The venue will be held at four different locations, each hosting one part of a joint program, where you’ll be able to meet others with similar interests – all with respect to the given restrictions.
So please join us either online-or at any of these locations as ling as there are seats open:
- Green Innovation Park
- Uppsala Business park
- Uppsala Science Park
- Uppsala Castle
More details about the specific program and venues will come soon.
“The region of Uppsala (Sweden) is the intermediate region with the highest overall position – sixth place– just ahead of one of the urban regions. The presence of a large university and life science sector help to explain why Uppsala has the highest proportion of people with a tertiary education and the highest level of R&D investment per capita of the intermediate regions. The region also benefits from the proximity of the capital region of Stockholm and Arlanda Airport, which contributes to Uppsala’s high net migration rate.”
