Andreas Larsson, PhD, MSc
CEO of STUNS
Andreas Larsson is CEO of STUNS (The foundation for collaboration between the universities in Uppsala, business community and the public sector), and chairman of the board for the incubator and accelerator Uppsala Innovation Centre/UIC.
Before joining the Uppsala innovation community, Andreas was head of the Office of Science and Innovation at the Embassy of Sweden in Washington D.C. He holds a PhD in industrial organization and a MSc in Industrial Management and Engineering awarded by Lulea University of Technology. He has studied at Nanyang Technology University in Singapore and Nihon University Graduate School of Business in Tokyo and been visiting researcher and visiting scholar at Stanford University in Palo Alto.
He has been member of the OECD Steel Committee and member of the AAAS S&T Fellowship Selection Committee, iron ore intelligence manager at LKAB, management consultant at Accenture, global innovation policy lead at Swedish Agency for Growth Policy Analysis and program manager at Vinnova.
