Sune Larsson is director of research and education at Uppsala University hospital and professor in orthopedic surgery at Uppsala university. Within the university hospital one of his main efforts has been to establish and define a role for the hospital within the echo system for life science locally as well as on a national level. Prior to becoming director of research and education he was as a clinician and researcher often engaged as advisor to various companies both domestic and on the international arena. Usually med tech companies in need of expertise opinion for defining clinical needs but also for evaluation and assessment of various products as well as for conducting clinical trials in collaboration with med tech as well as pharma companies.
