My work at Uppsala BIO:

I am responsible for the Industrial Partnership programme, where we focus on facilitating interaction between large companies and small start-ups and academic projects in order to accelerate the development of promising new products and technologies. As an experienced BIO-X coach, I support projects in diagnostics, green and industrial biotechnology, pharma and medtech.

“It’s a real privilege to work with all the talented and innovative people that I meet in my daily work.”

Why I work at Uppsala BIO:

It is truly inspiring to work with such a wide range of projects – from sensors to new approaches for treating cancer, for example – and to contribute to the development of new products and technical solutions. Working with all the talented and innovative people from academia, industry and other sectors that I meet in my daily work is also a real privilege.

I am passionate about:

Being part of and following the journey from first idea/potential concept, through its development phases and, hopefully, bringing better solutions closer to patients.

My education and previous work experience:

I hold an M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering and have more than 10 years’ industrial experience within biotech tools and diagnostics. I possess a broad understanding of business and realise the importance of matching market and customer requirements with internal resources and business strategy to develop strong project and product portfolios. I am experienced in introducing new technologies into the market place and have been responsible for five product launches. My roles have included project and product management, product and application support, and sales. I always strive to work closely with R&D, sales organisations and customers.
