Life science in Sweden

Sweden has over 30,000 employees engaged in R&D and manufacturing. Sweden ranks 9th and 5th in Europe among 140 countries world-wide in the Global Competitiveness Index 2015-2016 ranking by World Economic Forum. We also ranks 2nd per capita in the world when it comes to R&D investments and life Science oriented universities and hospitals are to be found all over the nation, from north to south.
